Pathways Counseling is a community of like-minded counselors focused on helping people become their best selves mentally, emotionally, spiritually and relationally. We use proven researched therapies, methods and counseling perspectives congruent with the tenants of the Christian faith. We integrate both scientific and faith perspectives to identify core issues, resolve conflicts and traumas, recover relational connection and intimacy, and discover new pathways to the life they long for.
Meet Our Counselors
ARON STRONG, LMFT
Helping couples and individuals find the life they are longing for is Aron's greatest passion. As an attachment-based counselor, Aron uses Emotionally Focused Therapy, Core Emotions, Internal Family Systems, and other modalities to help clients overcome obstacles to achieve the intimacy, purpose, direction, and security they are looking for in their life and relationships.
Aron's experience includes nearly two decades of professional counseling, pastoral experience, and organizational leadership.
Amy Frazee, LPC-MHSP(temp)
Amy completed her bachelor’s degree in biblical counseling and master’s degree in professional counseling while her kids were growing. Amy loves to work with clients of all ages who struggle with grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. She has significant experience using play therapy with her younger clients. She is client focused and uses cognitive behavior therapy techniques to help the client re-narrate their “story”.
Amy loves to travel, crochet, and read true stories of people who have faced insurmountable odds and survived. She fully believes that real life is crazier than fiction.
JEAN LANDPHAIR, LMFT
Jean is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has been practicing since 2011. Jean’s driving motivation is that those who hurt need not suffer alone. Finding that most every relationship problem stems from an attachment need, she has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy .
While her main focus is on marriage counseling, she also works with adult and teen individuals with relationship issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, divorce recovery and parent coaching. Jean and her husband Doug have raised 2 children and now delight in their grandchildren.
Megan Ballou, MMFT
Megan works primarily with adolescents and young adults who need help transitioning into the next stages of life, healing through trauma work, eating disorders, adjustment disorders, and/or relational problems. She is also trained in EMDR and IFS work that allows her to integrate the various parts of a person into a whole person.
Meganʼs goal for every client is to lead them into a fuller and happier life, while helping them build the necessary tools to encounter life struggles. Megan believes that true healing comes from when a person can understand and accept their true self.
Lisbeth VAnce, Graduate Intern
Lisbeth’s own counseling experience led her to the desire to help others grow and live their healthiest life. She is currently a graduate intern at Trevecca Nazarene University in the Marriage and Family Therapy program. She enjoys working with couples and individuals.
Lisbeth is a wife and mom to two boys and a little girl. She loves spending time with her family and watching hockey games together. She looks forward to getting to know each one of her clients and working with them to achieve their goals.
Shonda Vaughn, M.A.
Shonda’s life experience fed her passion to meet people right where they are in their journey. Her passion is helping people from a place of brokenness and hurt to one of healing, wholeness, and hope. She is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, EMDR, and Brainspotting.
Shonda works with individuals and couples by helping them achieve their personal goals related to their unique issue. She has a teenage daughter and a fur baby (Jack Russell Terrier) that falls into the “senior” category of pets older than the age of 10.
